The CUBAL first-level southeast regional competition, which began on March 22nd in Zhoushan, featured 12 women’s teams competing for the title of “Southeast Champion.” SJTU high-level women’s basketball team, after five days of intense competition in the group stage, secured the top spot in the group with an undefeated record. In the knockout stage, they successively defeated Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Guangzhou Sport University to advance to the final. Additionally, in post-match statistical analysis, SJTU women’s team topped all 12 teams in categories such as average points scored, fewest points conceded, most rebounds, most assists, and most three-pointers made.

They quickly adjusted their state of mind and, in the following crucial games, decisively defeated Xiamen University. In the final match, they won by a large margin against this year’s “dark horse,” Shenzhen University, ultimately advancing directly to the national finals as the fifth team in the Southeast Division.
It is understood that both the men’s and women’s high-level teams will return to school and actively train to prepare for this year’s national finals, striving for better results while balancing their academic commitments.
