The 17th International Conference on Indoor Air Quality and Climate (Indoor Air 2022) was held in Finland from June 12th to 16th, 2022. It is the largest and most authoritative international academic conference in this field. It was announced at the opening ceremony of the conference that LAN Li, Professor in Practice from Shanghai Jiao Tong School of Design, was elected as the Fellow of the International Academy of Indoor Air Quality (ISIAQ Academy).

Professor LAN Li and her research group is committed to the research and practice of creating a healthy, comfortable and efficient indoor environment, featuring the intersection of medicine and engineering. They took the lead in proposing and systematically introducing physiological parameters into the field of indoor environment research, revealing the mechanism of indoor environment on human health, comfort and sleep. Their research results were published in top academic journals such as Science of the Total Environment, Energy and Buildings etc.

 

 

 

 

Indoor Air 2022, the 17th International Conference of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality & Climate is organized by University of Eastern Finland together with Finnish Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate which was originally founded to organize the Indoor Air 1993 conference. Conferences are organized every second year (even years) as international events and gather typically about 600-900 participants, with 800-900 papers presented in oral and poster form. The conferences form an important meeting point for personal information exchange between ISIAQ and its members and ISIAQ-members mutually.
