MOE Key Laboratory for Power Machinery and Engineering

Brief Introduction

MOE Key Laboratory for Power Machinery and Engineering (KLPME) was found on August 17, 2000. The research areas of KLPME include thermodynamic cycle theory & system performance and simulation, engine combustion and emission control, thermal hydromechanics and turbomachinery, power train and control, heat and mass transfer in micro-power system and thermal dynamic of heat driving refrigeration. 

The faculty of KLPME consists of twenty-tree professors, twenty-one associate professors and six lecturers, including two academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, China National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and three distinguished professors of Cheung Kong Scholars Program.

The researches in KLPME are supported by national projects and department projects, such as State Key Fundamental Research Program, National High-Tech Research and Development Program and National Natural Science Foundation projects. The total fund in the past five years is more than 150 million yuan.
