In October 2016, Hong Liang team from Department of Physics and Astronomy and Institute of Natural Sciences,SJTU,together with its collaborator from Oak Ridge National Laboratory of USA published their research finding named "Determination of functional collective motions in a protein at atomic resolution using coherent neutron scattering" on Science Advances. As the sub-magazine of Science, Science Advances is aimed at publishing original and ground-breaking research findings in natural science field. The research group of Hong Liang reveals the microscopic process of small drug molecule entering metabolic enzyme cytochrome P450, which is conducive to the design of related drug molecule.

The project is supported by National Science Fund(11504231).Hong Liang is the first author and corresponding author.
