SJTU Professors Won China Think Tank Awards of Achievement

On October 19th, the 1st Think Tank Construction and Evaluation Forum was held in Beijing. The forum was sponsored by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation, and co-organized by China Economic Trend Research Institute, the Economic Daily. Achievement awards for Chinese think tank were presented for the first time, including the Award of Consultation of National Affairs, the Award of Academic Achievement, and the Award of Innovative Talent. At the forum, two professors from Shanghai Jiao Tong University gained the awards. Professor Lu Ming from Chinese Development Research Institute, Antai College of Economics and Management won the Award of Academic Achievement by writing Great State Needs Bigger City. Professor Xu Jian from Institute of Arts and Humanities and China Institute for Urban Governance won the Award of Innovative Talent (this award was only presented to ten persons around the country).



Based on the comprehensive evaluation of China Think Tank, the awards were presented to representative talents and achievements, which can be role models for the public and reference for developing a new think tank with Chinese characteristic.
