SJTU Master Won IEEE PES GM 2019 Prize Conference Paper

August 08, 2019      Author: SJTU Department of Electrical Engineering

From August 4th to 9th, 2019 IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting was held in Atlanta, U.S., attended by nearly 1,000 experts and scholars from over 30 countries and regions. At the meeting, the Prize Conference Paper was awarded to "Transient Behavior Analysis of VSG-IIDG During Disturbances Considering the Current Limit Unit", written by SJTU master student Li Meiyi and under the guidance of Associate Professor Huang Wentao and Professor Tai Nengling from Department of Electrical Engineering of School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering. The paper analyzes the transient stability of inverter-type distributed power supply based on virtual synchronous motor control under the action of current-limiting controller, as well as the instability type and instability mechanism of inverter power supply under voltage disturbance.

IEEE PES GM is the top international conference in the field of power and energy. The Prize Conference Paper is specially set up for student authors. Li Meiyi is the only Chinese student among 4 winners from more than 3,600 participants.
