SJTU KoGuan Law School In QS World’s Top 100 Best Law Schools For the Seventh Year

In recent days, Quacquarelli Symonds Limited (QS) published World University Rankings for 2018. In the field of Law, Shanghai Jiao Tong University entered the list of the best 100 schools for the seventh year in a row. According to the actual data analysis, Shanghai Jiao Tong University came in 56~58 place in rankings, and the third among schools from the mainland of China, after Peking University (21) and Tsinghua University (33). Up to now, the only schools from the mainland of China that managed to enter the Top 100 of QS World University Rankings in the field of Law for more than five consecutive years are Peking University, Tsinghua University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
According to reports, QS University Rankings cover 48 different subjects and five composite faculty areas, evaluating more than 1100 institutions of higher education in 151 countries worldwide. The comprehensive assessment of disciplines includes four main aspects of expert review and reputation of world-renowned specialists and scholars, review and reputation of world's top graduate employers, as well as reference citation and academic citation index during the last five years in SCOPUS, world's largest abstract and citation database. At present, QS World University Rankings are considered to be one of the three most influential world university rankings, next to Times Higher Education World University Rankings and Academic Ranking of World Universities.
