Qian Xuesen Library Holds Joint Exhibition of Young Chinese, Arab & African Architects

On May 9th, as one of the series campaigns of 2017 Sino-French Cultural Spring, the joint exhibition titled “Mission Trans-Missions” was opened on B1 floor of Qian Xuesen Library, which was jointly hosted by France AS Architecture Studio and Qian Xuesen Library, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Works from France AS Architecture Studio are exhibited by means of models, photos, picture wall and multi-media video in order to show how the architects cope with and improve the life quality in the increasingly difficult living circumstance of human beings.

The Mission Trans-Missions Exhibition was held in CA’ASI art galley during the 15th Architecture Biennial in Venice, Italy in 2016 and received great comments. The architecture exhibition, as a part of 2017 Sino-French Cultural Spring, is a new way to improve architectural culture communication between China and France.

Guests on the opening ceremony are Paul Frèches, Commissioner of Cultural Affairs from Consulate General of France in Shanghai, Zhang Kai, Executive Director of Qian Xuesen Library, René-Henri Arnaud, associate of the France AS Architecture Studio, Rodo Tisnado, founding associate of the France AS Architecture Studio, etc.
