SJTU Micro-Nano Electronics Department Publishes Papers at ISSCC

November 28, 2019      Author: Tong Xiaohui

Recently, Shanghai Jiao Tong University has made another important breakthrough in the field of integrated circuits. The paper about low-power chip technology was published at International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) by Professor Mao Zhigang's digital chip and system team of Department of Micro-Nano Electronics.

ISSCC is recognized as the highest-level conference in the field of integrated circuits by academia and industry, as well as the "Olympics" of integrated circuit design.

The first author of this paper is Lin Chuxiong, first-year doctoral student of Department of Micro-Nano Electronics, and his supervisor, Associate Professor He Weifeng, is the corresponding author. This paper pays attention to problems caused by metastability in the chip under low voltage, and proposes detection methods and solutions to realize an error rate reduction of 1 to 3 orders of magnitude, which is significant to integrated circuit design with low power and high reliability.
