Engineering

Our UM-SJTU Jiont Institute offers students a chance to study in an English-language environment for Undergraduate Degree, Graduate Degree, Dual Degree Program (2+2) in which students may apply for transfer to the University of Michigan in their sophomore year and Combined Undergraduate/Graduate Program (CUGP) for students seeking Master’s and PhD degrees from the University of Michigan.


 

Economics and Management

Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) aims to develop the highest-level managerial talent, with thoroughly international perspectives and capacities, and the ability to compete in the global economy. ACEM is the first and only China-based business school to be doubly accredited by EQUIS and the Association of MBAs.

ACEM consists of over 30 departments and academic institutes, including the Department of Business Administration, Department of Economics and Finance, Department of Management Science and Engineering, Department of Accounting and Finance, Research Institute of Systems Engineering, Research Institute of Human Resource Management, Research Institute of Transportation Management, Research Institute of Marketing, and the Modern Finance Research Center. The College’s advisory board is directed by Mr. Wang Daohan, former Mayor of Shanghai. The College currently offers the following programs:


 

Finance

SAIF Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF), the first business school in Asia with a distinct finance focus, was established with strategic and financial support from the Shanghai Municipal Government. SAIF is committed to educating top finance professionals by virtue of its world-class facilities and internationally acclaimed faculty that consists largely of tenured professors from top universities in North America. We currently offer the following English programs:

 

Law

Ku Guan KoGuan Law School has a total number of about 750 law students. Each year we attract many talented applicants throughout China. Our student body is among the best in China in terms of their performance in national entrance exams. In Fall 2010, we launched the first Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program in Chinese Law in Shanghai. This will diversify and internationalize our student body. We welcome international graduate students to join in our Law School. Currently we offer the following English programs:

International and Public Affairs (SIPA)

As an internationally-oriented school, SIPA has established substantial strategic partnerships with renowned universities around the world, and has a rich and extensive overseas network. To facilitate faculty and student exchanges as well as academic collaboration, the school has signed agreements or memorandums with schools such as Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, the Rand Corporation and its Pardee Graduate School, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Science Po in Paris, and the University of Bergen’s Department of Comparative Politics. Currently, several dozen foreign students are pursuing their degrees at SIPA. Each year, SIPA also selects students to study in America, Europe, Taiwan, and Hong Kong among other locations. We currently offer the following English Program:
