Mao Junfa

 

 

Mao Junfa, male, was born in Shaoyang, Hunan,in August 1965. He is an expert in electromagnetic field and microwave technology. He received his bachelor's degree at National University of Defense Technology in 1985, master's degree at Shanghai Institute of Nuclear Research of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1988 and Ph.D at Shanghai Jiao Tong University(SJTU) in 1992, and since then he has been a faculty member at SJTU, where now he is the Dean and a chair professor of the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering (SEIEE). Mao Junfa is member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Distinguished Professor of Yangtze River Scholar Award Scheme and Academic Leader of Innovation Team, winner of National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation, leader of innovative research group of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 973 chief scientist, Fellow of IEEE and CIE, 2015 IEEE Fellow Committee Member. Mao Junfa has been committed to the research of high-speed circuit interconnection and packaging, microwave and radio frequency circuits and systems, and electromagnetic compatibility. He has won the National Natural Science Award, State Technological Invention Award and the National Science and Technology Progress Award, respectivlely. He has published more than 400 academic papers, including over 110 papers in IEEE journals, and owns 30 authorized invention patents.
